Lake Athabasca is located near the 60th parallel, spanning the Alberta and Saskatchewan borders. Our lodge is located on Grouse Island near the north shore of the lake. Our location is considered by most as the best spot on the lake to catch the most fish per day.

To reach our lodge, guests fly to Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, then connect by jet to Fort McMurray, Alberta. A caravan flight of an hour and a half is the last leg of your trip. We pick you up at the air strip for the 3 mile boat ride to the lodge. We welcome guests throughout our season, which runs from June to October.
Our travel coordinator, Jeannete, with Uniglobe Travel will be happy to assist you with your air travel to Ft. McMurray as well as any other travel needs you may have. You may contact them at 1-800-661-2454. For those wishing to make your own travel arrangements, flights to Fort McMurray, Alberta are available with West Jet Airlines or Air Canada Airlines from either Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. We also have an airfield available for those wishing to come in by private plane with boat rentals available.

Our goal is simple. To provide our guests with the opportunity to enjoy the best fishing of their lives.

To us that means more than offering access to the rich waters of Lake Athabasca. It means sharing our years of knowledge of this incredible location, and the promise that we are focused on meeting and exceeding our guests' expectations.
